Is Cheap Affordable Web Hosting a good option?
I have read so many times people discouraging from purchasing cheap or affordable web hosting or sometimes even hosting companies providing Unlimited Bandwidth Hosting – what exactly is with it either of these two?

Have you heard of the saying "cheap things no good", however when we want to purchase anything, human nature is such, that, we look out for the cheapest possible price. Price becomes the priority especially when you are just starting out and cannot afford it. The beauty of it is we buy cheap and then also hope it is of good quality.
So what is your option then – do you go with cheap affordable hosting or not? Before you do anything it is imperative that you some extensive research before making your choice.
Sometimes you may come across one hosting provider who is absolutely cheap and another hosting provider who is so very expensive but coincidentally providing the exact same features – that is the same bandwidth, the same amount of web space and all other features. Before making the obvious choice of going for the cheaper option, look extensively at what they both have to offer.
Don’t buy in haste and then after you have put in all the hard word find that your website cannot even get off the ground. I am not saying that all cheap business hosting providers are bad you do actually get cheap but reliable ones out there but as I said earlier you need to do your part by doing your research.
With regard to Unlimited Bandwidth Hosting – Generally 50 Mb or less of space would be adequate for a 200 page website which would include text and images. 1 Gb to 5 Gb’s would be adequate bandwidth space for the same features of a website.

depends on what you need hosted. If it is a simple page that will not be accessed too often a cheap hosting provider is ok, but if your site is going to gain a lot of traffic you should consider an unlimited bandwidth host!

Is it cheap or affordable that you’re looking for?
There’s a subtle difference between "cheap" and "affordable".
Good things come at a price, I must admit. But due to ferocious
competition in the web hosting industry nowadays, you can easily
find reliable web hosting at an affordable rate, but not too cheap as
in like selling their services in a flea market.
As for unlimited bandwidth, it actually refers to unmetered bandwidth.
People bashing web hosting companies using the word "unlimited"
because bandwidth is a finite commodity, and a finite commodity
will have a limit. So, how can it be unlimited.
I think for simplicity, "unlimited" is easier to understand than "unmetered".
By the way, do you know what unmetered means? It actually means
they do not track how much bandwidth you’re using in a shared hosting
environment. They give you no limit. But it does come with certain rules
that you must follow. I think it’s pretty fair and square.
Unlike some other shared services that set certain limit for you, say
10 GB per month or so. Once you reach that limit before the month
ends, they’ll suspend your account until the next reset.
That’s why they choose to use "unlimited" over "unmetered". I for once,
when saw the word "unmetered", also went in search of the meaning.
In fact, unlimited bandwidth is so common nowadays among the
reputable companies that you can hardly find one that doesn’t
provide.
